The represents an artful combination of modern landscape design in relation to the surrounding natural beauty where the property sits. The landscape transformation was spearheaded with the addition of a beautiful transitional pool with defined edges that fit seamlessly into the lush surroundings. The form of the pool was constructed with high-quality materials including natural stone coping and a modern finish using tile, while simultaneously providing a relaxing climate, enhanced visual interest in each season. In support of the amenity, we made a hardscape with appropriate distinct edging consisting of decorative pavers and a custom-built pool deck, which provide enough space for gatherings and enjoyment of the pool. The landscape architect was not short on plantings! The landscape design used a range of plantings that support the local climate, incorporating both native and adaptive species to provide the best of contemporary design for three season color with the lowest amount of maintenance. The significant placements of flowering beds, ornament grasses, and evergreen shrubs create a rich composition of color and texture that undoubtedly change each season. A notable challenge the faced was the steep slope of the land. In response to the challenge, our firm engineered a series of terraces which provide a functional design and interesting visual perspective. The walls supporting the terracing provided a look and feel of natural stone, integrating a locally-source stone in both horizontal and vertical placement. The completed is a truly stunning outdoor living space and met and exceeded the expectation of our client. The combination of a transitional pool connecting to flourishing gardens and contemporary hardscapes, create a perfect balance of tranquility and sophistication. The finished work is the result of high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail, and transform the overall property of the site to a luxury experience that fits artistically into the natural surroundings.
