The goal for the renovations was to blend naturally beautiful designs with functional outdoor living space to meet the vision of our client. The created a carefully planned design that included native plants, a water feature for relaxation, and hardscape aspects. Locally sourced stone was utilized for the pathways and terrace, which enhanced the architecture of the house and the natural site area. An initial site constraint was the uneven grade of the site, and to create a multi-tiered garden that would provide visual beauty while being functional, we need to push the limits of grading on this . The methods our landscaping team used to overcome the site challenges included installing grading based drainage solutions, terraced garden beds that added depth and dimension, and an even surface for enjoyment of the outdoor living space. The concluded with a stunning outdoor oasis that includes a tranquil koi pond surrounded by botanical foliage, an intimate gathering area with a fire pit, and a flower garden adding pops of color each season. The pet-friendly, native plant material and gardens not only added to the scenery visually but also increased the local biodiversity. Our client was thrilled to see a completely transformed outdoor living space that reflects their lifestyle while enhancing the architecture of the home!
