Japanese Modern Farmhouse Pasadena Sacred Space Garden Design Inc. is excited to share our , the 'Japanese Modern Farmhouse Pasadena', which reimagines a traditional Japanese aesthetic combined with modern farmhouse concepts. Based in Pasadena, this imagined landscape exemplifies our focus on craft, quality, and design for clients across the Greater Los Angeles area. This design includes a calm and serene koi pond with stone slab stepping stones that gently lead the guests from the verdant garden to the inviting farmhouse. The planting palette includes primarily native drought resistant plants, like succulents and decorative grasses, to create a beautiful landscape that is sustainable while also embodying the peacefulness of Japanese gardens. Natural cedar wood for the decking and fencing added warmth and character, which was a perfect fit for the rustic farmhouse style. This was a challenging due to the need to improve the existing slope while maintaining the natural topography. Our skilled team created terraced levels with site-specific stone retaining walls. This not only stabilized the landscape, but added layers of interest. The result is a vibrant garden that offers both exploration and relaxation. In the end, this provided a beautiful oasis that strikes a balance between tranquil space and modern living. Our clients were delighted with the serenity and beauty of this functional space.
