Summary: Historic Glendale Spanish Revival Sacred Space Garden Design Inc. is thrilled to present 'Historic Glendale Spanish Revival', an amazing tribute to the rich architectural heritage of Glendale, California. Located in the heart of the city, this landscaping was designed from the ground up to match the delightful Spanish Revival style of the house, enhancing beauty and function. Then, from our initial consultation to the completed installation, the team at Sacred Space Garden Design Inc. used only top-quality materials that reflect the authentic Spanish style: weathered terracotta tiles, aged wooden pergolas, and colorful stucco. We also included a combination of indigenous plants and drought tolerant plants in the , including fragrant lavender, colorful bougainvillea and hardy succulents. These plants were thoughtfully chosen for that will thrive in local conditions and use minimal water. One of the chief challenges was integrating the new landscape design into the existing historic factors of the property. The Sacred Space team carefully worked within the zoning and preservation guidelines so we could address every part of the the design in a way that honors the home's historic context. Our installation of the handcrafted Cobblestone pathway is designed as a beautiful pathway through the garden, but also as a nod to the traditional Spanish design. The outcome is a beautiful outdoor experience inviting all to relax and socialize. From the new landscape, we provided serene seating, a soothing water fountain, and an herb garden to make the yard a delightful leisure space. The clients were very pleased with the result, describing the revitalized garden as a good blend of old-world design sensibility and modern sustainability.
