Shelburne Veterans Memorial - Shelburne, VT Church Hill Landscapes, Inc. is proud to have completed the Shelburne Veterans Memorial, which honors our local veterans' bravery and sacrifice. Located in downtown Shelburne, Vermont, we carefully considered the planning and execution of this landscape to establish a peaceful and respectful setting. The design includes a bespoke stone path that invites visitors through a carefully curated layout of native plants that enhance the design and build within the local ecology. Using locally sourced granite as well as river stone, we constructed a lasting and attractive structure to honor our commitment to completing quality s. The site includes well-considered plant selections that are low maintenance and drought-tolerant, to keep the area looking full and beautiful with minimal maintenance. We faced several challenges with uneven terrain on site, necessitating some creative grading considerations to allow for access to all visitors. Our team was able to overcome these obstacles and allowing us to create an inviting outdoor space, fostering a close connection to nature. In the end we provided a lovely tribute that our community enjoys, while blending with the natural surroundings, and providing a space for gathering and memorialization. Our clients were very pleased with the outcome, especially with our meticulousness to detail and desire to honor each veteran's legacy. Church Hill Landscapes, Inc. takes pride and care to deliver not just landscapes, but spaces that are meaningful in addition to serving the community in which we are established and beyond, including Burlington, South Burlington, and open to all.
