Set against the backdrop of Vermont's stunning lakes, the Lakeside Landscape from Church Hill Landscapes, Inc. exemplifies our mission for quality and creativity in landscaping. Serving Burlington, Charlotte, Colchester, and beyond, we transformed every recess of the lakeside property into a stunning outdoor living space that showcases beauty and functionality. The consisted of a total landscape transformation, launching a number of new landscaping materials, including a custom designed stone pathway comprised of locally sourced granite to the waterfront fire pit area, nestled among lush native plantings. This space is an inviting gathering area for family and friends. To maintain durability with a natural aesthetic, we customized the fire pit seating with high-quality cedar wood. One of our significant challenges as landscape professionals was managing the sloping topography of the site, which required innovative drainage solutions to control erosion and preserve the landscape features. Utilizing site-sourced weathered fieldstone, our talented team installed high-quality retaining walls that offered erosion control while showcasing the original natural beauty of this landscape. In addition to included construction elements, we sourced a variety of perennials and ornamental grasses to present exquisite layers of color and textures throughout bloom seasons. Ornamental trees cultivate height and intrigue while providing shade for leisurely afternoons by the lake. In the end, 'Lakeside Landscape' culminated with satisfied clients who embraced the cohesive and delightful outdoor living space that demonstrated artistry and craftsmanship, while continuing to embrace their personal style, and simultaneously preserving and maintaining the beauty characteristic of the lakes.
