The design work commenced with a comprehensive site analysis which allowed us to devise landscaping solutions that addressed the specific challenges of the site. Our staff carefully selected native plants including colorful perennials and durable shrubs to support biodiversity but limit maintenance. A beautiful assortment of natural stone pathways was woven throughout the garden to help guide visitors while also giving structure and beauty to the garden. A key design component of the included the construction of a multi-tiered terrace system. This terrace system added to the usable space and controlling soil erosion on the steep slopes of the site. Although there were challenges on the related to drainage, our professional and skilled staff were able to create an inventive drainage system, incorporating a directional system of rain gardens to manage storm-water runoff while providing another beautiful and lush element to the overall landscape and construction. The final results of the show a comforting representation of terraced areas and woodland gardens that encourage engaging. Clients can now utilize their outdoor space and enjoy seating and a fire pit area made with locally sourced wood that becomes the gathering area for family and friends.
