St. Johns Garden with Rustic Garden Shed We are excited to share the great of the St. Johns Garden. Wheel & Barrow Landscape Design & Maintenance has developed a tasteful outdoor space in beautiful Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. This speaks volumes our quality of service and level of the client experience, as we took a typical, average backyard and turned it into a swift garden getaway. The St. Johns Garden consists of a mix of native plants, colorful perennials and fragrant herbs to create unique beauty and biodiversity. To complete the garden's look, our team selected great materials including; durable and colorful flagstone for the walkways, and shelf-like natural river rock that flowed the garden into the existing landscape with rustic charm. An amazing piece of this was the handcrafted garden shed - all made to match what was happening in the backyard. This old-style storage shed, crafted of reclaimed wood with vintage-style pulls, is not only functional but also an appealing element to the design. Our design worked to have this shed survive the brutal Wisconsin winters while being a warming space for our homeowner's garden tools and supplies. This was technically interesting as we had an uphill slope in the backyard. To remedy the slope, we used safe grading practices to have the garden be appealing and also a flat space. We built terraced flower beds to create interest and even used boulders to decrease or eliminate erosion so that the space would remain beautiful and lush for seasons to come. We are very pleased with the final product, and it's both attractive and functional - to make the homeowner happy, as well as enhance the surrounding landscape. The St. Johns Garden with Rustic Garden Shed goes a long way in representing (and reinforcing) Wheel & Barrow Landscape Design and Maintenance, and our commitment to quality work, that meets our client's home needs, to bring joy and calm every time they step outside.
