Kiawah Island at Cassique by REMARK Located in the natural beauty of Kiawah Island, the Cassique by REMARK truly represents quality in the world of landscaping. We worked with the homeowners and the HOA to develop and construct a beautiful outdoor space for this prestigious community. Our team completely designed and constructed an expansive landscape that interoperated with the beauty of the island. We built a well-balanced combination of native plantings with beautiful hardscaping components, utilizing local resources to develop custom stone paths and large patios. We highlighted sustainability by using drought-resistant plants that thrive and increase biodiversity in the coastal setting. While we had the challenge of high salinity and sandy soils, our skilled horticulturists created custom soil amendments that supported the growth of healthy plants, producing a lush and vibrant landscape rated for the coastal atmosphere. Drainage was a feature in our work to adapt for erosion, encouraging healthy roots structures. This outdoor space is an amazing outdoor building for informally lounging and gathering. The client’s vision of a tranquil retreat was developed into an oasis of tranquil waters intermixed with flowerbeds and locations for sitting and viewing the marsh surrounding the neighborhood. The overall transformation of Kiawah Island at Cassique increased the property’s value, produced an outdoor space for the homeowners and their guests’ enjoyment, while creating a harmonious outdoor living space. This exemplifies what we believe in at REMARK and that is providing quality landscaping while being responsible to our clients desires.
