Our recent in the exciting area of Summerlin, is a testament to our quality and innovative approach to landscaping. The spacious backyard was a fresh start, which always produces opportunities and challenges. Our experienced team started with a thorough site evaluation to ensure we understood the microclimate and soil conditions of the property. Drought resistant landscapes comprised of native Mojave Desert plants, such as colorful ocotillos and desert marigolds, were implemented to create a colorful and low maintenance garden that flourishes in the local climate. In addition to the garden, we added visual structure by installing a visually appealing stone path made from locally sourced flagstone, leading to a secluded seating area with a custom-built pergola that provides shade and creates a beautiful gathering point. We also experienced some challenges with the drainage in the backyard, but installed a French drain as one of our solutions for effective water convolusions and preventing erosion. Finally, we were able to add a soft, ambient lighting system to illuminate the features in the garden once the sun went down, creating a friendly space for entertaining in the evening. The end result combined all the elements of nature and function, to leave the client amazed with their own outdoor oasis.
