Water Smart Landscaping by Sunny Landscaping 'Water Smart Landscaping' by Sunny Landscaping is a new aimed at fostering sustainability while providing aesthetic value. This will cover the lively communities of Enterprise, Henderson, Las Vegas, Nellis Air Force Base, North Las Vegas, Paradise, Spring Valley, Summerlin, Summerlin South, Sunrise Manor, The Lakes, Whitney, and Boulder City. In a region that values water conservation, our talented team implemented design and landscape construction techniques that preserve water usage while enhancing the beautiful aspects of living in the area. The showcases drought-tolerant plants by using native desert marigolds and agaves while having thoughtfulness regarding placement to create beautiful focal points that flourish in the climate. We also incorporated permeable pavers to allow precipitation to percolate directly into the earth and recharge the groundwater while reducing runoff. Transforming the original, high-water landscape into a sustainable lush paradise was one of the main obstacles we navigated through the soil quality of the landscape and the original irrigation system. We re-engineered the original irrigation system to accommodate our new water smart design. We reused materials as the pathways and enhanced the aesthetic element of the landscape by adding unique character while staying true to our sustainability pledge. We ultimately built a spectacular outdoor space that reflected the best of both form and function, with contrasting colors from the native plants against the hardscape providing an inviting space for fun family gatherings and downtime. The client was very satisfied with the , especially their reduction in water bills and major increase in curb appeal.
