Succulent Garden at Windsor Square House - A Green Landscape Designs Located in Windsor Square, the Succulent Garden at Windsor Square House from Green Landscape Designs created a memorable outdoor environment that embodies beauty and sustainability. Serving the communities of Beverly Hills, Brentwood Los Angeles, and beyond, it was a fun challenge for our team to work in the urban environment, while optimizing for drought tolerant plants that can thrive in the Southern California climate. The design has a very colorful hearty distribution of succulents: Echeveria, Aloe, and Agave were among those thoughtfully placed to enhance the arrangement with their colors and texture. We introduced natural stone pathways and boulders to provide enhanced access and visual interest to the design. With that said, our skilled craftsmen selected and installed only the finest decomposed granite for the pathways; not only did it provide a clean and contemporary space, it also promoted drainage. One of the challenges we faced was overcoming soil conditions. This would require a significant amount of amendments to ensure optimal growing conditions for our selected succulent varieties. To ensure a healthy flooring for the plants, the Green Landscape Designs team introduced organic compost and a specialized soil mixture. To maximize watering efficiency, the team installed drip irrigation to conserve water without compromising the health of the garden. Ultimately, this Succulent Garden became an unbelievably happy green space brimming with life, adding curb appeal for the property, and inspiring those passing by to stop a take a deep breath as they admired the layer of textures and colors. The client was thrilled to have their new outdoor space, a combination of modern design with a sustainable approach to landscaping. Quality craftsmanship and innovative ideas shone through as Windsor Square House Succulent Garden embodied the Green Landscape Designs' mantra of creating beautiful lasting landscapes.
