About This Project

French Estate by Rosmarin Landscape Design Located in the center of Sonoma County, we at Rosmarin Landscape Design are excited to present the 'French Estate' , a lively overhaul that successfully meets sophistication and the natural landscape around the property with ease. We provide service to communities from Cotati to Bodega Bay, so we took on the challenge of creating a fresh outdoor environment that embodied the essence of the gardens often found in the French countryside. Initially, we faced several items to overcome, uneven grade and no existing infrastructure was the baseline. Our team of landscape architects planned and designed a plan that incorporated terraced gardens, allowing the site to drain properly and have a layered appearance. We used quality local materials to build typical stone walls and used paths of reclaimed terracotta tiles. We created a fountain as a true focal point of the estate and yet rustic. The gardens were moments of varied types of plants, from lavender to roses and ornamental grasses. We considered the environmental conditions of the local climate so given the varieties chosen, they will performed well and achieved a palette over colors and textures through the seasons. Our team captured tranquility in the space with the placement of the plants and seating; tying the client to the desired experience of enjoying the peacefulness of their property. The end result turned into a beautiful estate that was unpretentious in it's French inspired nature. The clients were very pleased with the end result of their new landscape completion, not only added to the property value, yet also created a new area of peace for their enjoyment with their family and friends. Each detail of the 'French estate' was attended to, demonstrating the planning, design, and construction sequences fulfilled by the team coordinated by Rosmarin Landscape Design. Quality was the overall consideration for the , once again achieving and maintaining full satisfaction of the customer.
