Taylor Mountain Garden by Rosmarin Landscape Design The Taylor Mountain Garden, located in Cotati, is a construction by Rosmarin Landscape Design. The successfully combines function and beauty in creating an outdoor space that fulfills the client's vision and fits in with the native landscape. With shades of green and color for interest all year round, there are many native plantings, especially drought-tolerant plants. Stone pathways that are durable and aesthetically pleasing have been carefully selected from a quarry nearby. The water feature is central in the garden when it is completing with its gentle cascading water, attracting wildlife and providing a soothing element. One of the hardships with this site was the level of the site as well as having many rocks in the ground. Rosmarin Landscape Design built terraced planting beds in a manner that added accessibility to the site and helped prevent erosion. This also created a defined area for relaxing and enjoyment while also maximizing space and beauty. The included various elements of hardscaping, such as a functional and decorative wood pergola built at the site as well as some areas for seating. We used salvaged wood for all of the wood on the to contribute to sustainability and an inviting charm. At completion, this was a site of colors and excitement, allowing for a wonderful outdoor experience for the client beyond their expectations.
