Brattle Street The Brattle Street , completed by Matthew Cunningham Landscape Design LLC, reflects our dedication to quality landscape architecture in the Stoneham venue. It has remodeled a difficult urban site into a beautiful oasis that works effortlessly with nature. The Brattle Street Township highlights a classic patio made of locally sourced blue stone that is durable, site specific, and environmentally conscious. The challenging form of the patio is complemented by a series of tiered planters filled with colorful perennials to provide beauty and seasonal interest through all 4 seasons. A site specific, custom built, cedar topped pergola provides the necessary shade while carefully delineating the outdoor living area and creating the perfect venue for gatherings and relaxation. One of the significant challenges we encountered was the site’s unlevel topography. Our team utilized advanced grading techniques to create level footings while also ensuring the site had positive slope for drainage and stability. Furthermore, we introduced a rain garden with native plants to manage stormwater while adding to the local eco-system. Ultimately, the landscape design we created is beautiful, meets the client expectations, and reflects, sustainable practices. The outdoor space is lively with select native plants generating friendly local pollinators, has a thoughtful layout for easy access, and it is pleasing to the eye. When the was complete, we could see the delight in the client’s eyes, as we transformed their vision into a stunning landscape that embodies the quality and craftsmanship that Matthew Cunningham Landscape Design LLC is recognized for.
