Summary: Lawrence Road Landscaping by Matthew Cunningham Landscape Design LLC The 'Lawrence Road' , situated in a beautiful setting in Stoneham, showcases the craftsmanship and original design of Matthew Cunningham Landscape Design LLC. It was conceived as a landscaping renovation to improve the site’s natural qualities while introducing functionality for the client’s family. The includes wonderful elements, such as a multi-tiered garden bed, which is full of native perennial low grasses that offer color throughout the seasons. For a friendly family gathering area, we employed high-quality, locally sourced stone in a beautiful patio installation. The use of permeable pavers adds an artistic element and supports sustainable water drainage in this type of climate. An aspect of difficulty was the slope of the yard, which took significant forethought and planning. We designed a series of retaining walls that aesthetically stabilized the landscape while adding an inviting tiered effect across the yard. Our team also designed a custom irrigation system that watered the lush plantings with minimal waste. In the end, the client received a wonderful balance of beauty and functionality. They now have an outdoor oasis where they can sit around a fire pit, nurture the herb garden, and enjoy a shady place with friends.
