Glendon Avenue, West Los Angeles Weeds Garden Design Build LLC is excited to feature the completed landscaping on Glendon Avenue, West Los Angeles. This highlights our commitment to excellence and creativity as a demonstration of our ability to do our best work in the heart of the city we live in. The goals for this residential landscape included an exciting outdoor environment that created both functionality and beauty. Our team set out to provide complexities and layers within the design of the multi-faceted garden filled with an array of native and drought-tolerant succulents and perennial flowers that thrive in the Southern California climate. As a way to promote visual interest, we utilized natural stone pathways and placed them around a seated area with lush, green surroundings. A challenge we encountered at this property was the unbalanced slope of the ground. Our landscape architects did an amazing job designing an innovative grading solution that balanced the property and, ultimately cascading in a way to increase plant height and texture variations. We also used a drip irrigation system to ensure the long-term health of the landscape and efficient water usage. As a whole, we were extremely happy and proud of our work and so too are the homeowners. The final product shows stunning outdoor living spaces for gatherings and relaxation - their landscaping is now both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The homeowner’s curb appeal has been greatly enhanced, in turn increasing the overall value of their property as well, which is a strong step towards our mission of creating beautiful and sustainable landscapes.
