Bridle Run by Ventures Design Located in the charming Bloomfield Hills community, the Bridle Run landscaping prject is a testament to Ventures Design's creativity and expertise. Bridle Run is an extensive outdoor transformation with native planting, beautiful hardscaping and sustainability practices to compliment the natural beauty of the property. The began with a detailed site evaluation to consider the unique topography and climate challenges of the area. Our team was able to engineer the sloped site with high-quality, locally sourced materials, such as stone for retaining walls and pathways, which will withstand both wear and time. The hardscaping also includes an exceptional paver patio, which enhances the outdoor living space for entertaining and relaxation. To create a vibrant and welcoming space, we chose a diverse mix of native plants that do well in the local environment. The design incorporated lofty ornamental grasses, herbaceous perennials bursting with splashes of color, and evergreen shrubs, all of which provide interest throughout the year and support biodiversity. In addition to the design having all of the elements play-off one another and not throw-off the overall vision of the site, our keen eye for detail provides the finishing touches, including strategically-placed lighting to highlight certain landscape features, while aesthetically-pleasing flower beds provide blooming interest throughout each season. During the , we faced some significant challenges when it came to appropriating direction to water. Ventures Design chose to introduce an inventive rain garden to both hold and manage drainage issues, while also providing a stunning focal point for native plants that attract pollinators. The finished landscape provides respite and beauty for the owners, while elevating the experience of the entire surrounding community. Bridle Run is a wonderful outcome of a relationship based on time, commitment to quality, innovative craftsmanship and creative designs, all committed to thoughtful sustainable practices. Consequently, Bridle Run is a welcomed and exciting addition to our portfolio, while providing an enjoyable option for the homeowners.
