Before the design even started, we performed an extensive site analysis to address some of the unique conditions that the existing site presented. The nature of our site had us addressing challenges like uneven grading and limited sunlight in some areas which required a creative approach. We skillfully graded the landscape while adding diverse plant habitats with trees and shrubs to provide privacy but still allow light in. The custom stone patio made of local natural stone fitted to nature was one of the highlights of the Cox backyard. This sturdy yet beautiful addition becomes your go-to space for hanging out with family and friends. Providing warmth and ambiance on chilly evenings is a fire pit, constructed from the same stone as the patio. Combined with the hardscaping we had put in, we filled the garden with a wide variety of native and drought-resistant flowers, creating a garden that needs little maintenance while blooming all summer long and throughout the hot seasons. A drip irrigation system is also added which helps save water and also eat healthy. It looked absolutely stunning in the end. The Cox family has a landscaped yard that suits their lifestyle and enjoyment of outdoor living. They could not be more pleased with our design and told us that their home now feels like a peaceful retreat.
