Corsica Drive, Pacific Palisades Weeds Garden Design Build LLC is excited to present the newly completed Corsica Drive , a we take great pride in and are thrilled with the results. The residential landscape was cohesive in design to allow the site the ability to flow into the neighboring natural beauty of the coastline while incorporating the client's desire for a relaxing outdoor space. The included the full redesign of the front and back yards, which provides aesthetic balance between hardscape and softscape elements. For example, the natural stone pavers used in the patio areas are durable to withstand use and also create an attractive hardscape area. The retaining walls were custom-built from local stones as we were budget conscious and used materials that reflect the rustic forage of the existing architecture. One of the challenges of the property itself was the steep topography, which requires some engineering ingenuity to optimize where usable spaces could go outdoor. We expertly terraced the garden area with multiple levels to invite exploration and enhance the visual appeal of the outdoor space. This provided new functional capacity for outdoor entertainment and was also able to incorporate a beautiful water feature on the property which helps add weight, sounds, and overall serenity to the . The lush plant palette was developed to thrive in the Pacific Palisades climate and we opted for a high percentage of natives to promote biodiversity and limit care, maintenance intervention and costs. Low water-use options such as lavender and succulents were used for color, interest and texture while helping to promote water restraint with a richly rounded appearance. The finished result is a stunning landscape that not only met the client's expectations, but exceeded them, with the addition of outdoor lighting. Outdoor lighting thoughtfully highlights architectural elements and creates warmth and invites to the space for evenings outdoors.
