We planted native plant species that draw visitors to the garden all year. A winding pathway of permeable pavers encourages garden exploration, allowing for easy transitions from one garden area to the next. A wooden shade pergola provides an oasis for relaxation. One major enhancement included a rain garden that utilized bio-swales to address drainage issues that have impacted this property. Nilsen Landscape Design, LLC, did an amazing job in designing the rain garden concept to manage the stormwater runoff, while sustaining nearby plants. The rain garden enhanced the overall health of the landscape while also benefiting the local ecology. The results surpass the client's expectations by creating vibrant outdoor spaces for entertainment and relaxing.
