Stone Entry by Engledow Estates Engledow Estates is excited to unveil the 'Stone Entry' , a beautiful renovation located in the heart of Carmel, Indiana. This is a wonderful example of our dedication to quality craftsmanship and cutting-edge landscaping. The main objective was to create a spectacular entry that would be enhanced both aesthetically and functionally to improve curb appeal, while extending a warm welcome to all who visit. Our design team went above and beyond to design an inviting pathway, featuring a natural stone paver that was well suited for the food architecture, the landscape, and even the home on the property. It was imported locally-sourced limestone that matched the durability desired in a transitional landscape, while also integrating into the site, offering an organic and sophisticated aesthetic. To complete the experience, we complemented the edges of the entryway with voluminous perennial gardens on either side, complete with colorful flowers that will add interesting color and texture to each season. One of the biggest obstacles was the landscaping gradient. With that separation of gradient across the landscape, we delivered structure in order to regulate water away from the development so that it would not pool and create concerns longevity of the . The team did a wonderful job of organizing and scaling the landscape into the natural environment so that when finished it was functional in a rainstorm yet visually appealing. The end result is a beautiful stone entry that demonstrates art while providing functioning accessibility. The inviting pathway, flavoured by plant choices and restrained lighting forms a peaceful environment that welcomes you home. The client was thrilled with how the entryway improved their existing home and made it seem as if they owned their own unique oasis.
