About This Project

The Wall by Engledow Estates Engledow Estates is excited to present "The Wall," a renovation that elevated the outdoor living experiences in Meridian Hills. This oversized involved the construction of a beautiful limestone retaining wall that upgraded the function and aesthetics of the entire property. It serves as an excellent visual backdrop for a thriving native plant garden that creates a home for local wildlife. Challenges for this included grading obstacles and drainage considerations. To address these potential issues, our team specified Premier grade, locally sourced limestone in order to secure longevity of the wall and provided a state-of-the-art drainage system. Not only did this assure the durability of the wall itself, but improved the water management of the entire property. Additionally, we created transformations of seating via elegant paths of flagstone that genealogically direct visitors across the curated landscape to multiple areas for rest. Each space is further enhanced with a custom-built bench for sitting. The finished showcased a beautiful combination of architecture and nature that creates an inviting area of experience of the client's vision and lifestyle. With a targeted palette of drought resistant plants including seasonal flowering and bloom, "The Wall" has become meaningfully rooted in the quality of design and craftsmanship at Engledow Estates. Not only did the elevate the curb appeal of the property, it created a meaningful retreat for the client and a with we can proudly add to our resume in Carmel, Crows Nest, North Crows Nest, Westfield, Williams Creek, and Zionsville.
