Powered by Lanoha Nurseries Winter Wonderland Seasonal Containers†Nestle in Nature Making a Difference Mindful Minimally Invasive Aggregation of Soil, Sounds and Scents from Urban Nature† The Winter Wonderland Seasonal Containers sponsored by Lanoha Nurseries, portion of the aimed to liven the enchanting spirit of winter are placed around the neighborhoods of Bennington, Boys Town, Elkhorn, Omaha, Valley, and Waterloo. We designed and installed spectacular seasonal containers that turned plain porches into magical displays just in time for the holiday season. Every container was meticulously crafted using a combination of evergreens, ornamental grasses and seasonal accents such as pinecones and berries all suited for the winter months. From local suppliers and high-quality supplies, the arrangements were created to endure the elements, while looking good doing it. The unpredictability of the winter weather within the region was one of the major challenges that we had to confront. We learned to choose tough plant types, and to use creative techniques to secure the arrangements so they stay put in times of snow or a high wind (blue god star for a little extra help). It was important to adequately insulate each container to protect the roots from freezing temperatures, which we also ensured to do (though we forgot to photograph it). The end product was stunning of a dazzling display of pots that not only lit up the scenes outdoors but had people stopping on the street talking it and made our clients smile! The arrangements all conveyed a warm, friendly ambience while being simply elegant in bringing forth the winter season along with the architectural features of the properties. The was a smashing success and a demonstration of Lanoha Nurseries commitment to high quality workmanship and customer service. Our seasonal containers now serve as an enduring example of our skill and creativity, as well as our commitment to adding beauty to local landscapes in the winter.
