Planter Paradise by Lanoha NurseriesLocated in the center part of Omaha, this beautiful 'Planter Paradise' is designed and install by Lanoha Nurseries serving the energetic residents of Bennington, Boys Town, Elkhorn, Valley and Waterloo. The sought to convert a small backyard into a rich, vibrant space full of plants and visual interest. Our included beautiful handmade reclaimed cedar raised custom planters that will stand the test of time as well as be in keeping with the rustic charm. Fifteen planters were stuffed with a combination of perennials, annuals and ornamental grasses to provide year-round color and texture. Lanoha utilises locally known plant species that encourage bio-diversity, yet require far less care than traditional high-maintenance landscapes; creating a zero maintenance environmentally sensitive landscape. Excavating the backyard, with all its uneven topsy-turvy places, was another obstacle that needed to be overcome, requiring some unique grading solutions, and a full-on drainage field, to prevent larger volumes of water from ponding. The team adeptly overcame these challenges by designing a terraced planting arrangement that not only mitigated drainage concerns, but also added variation of tone and texture. Lanoha Nurseries worked decorative stone paths and well-placed boulders into the mix to help tie the look together for a more natural appearance. It also included a lovely seating area, complete with custom-built benches, inviting the family to utilize their new outdoor retreat. The end result was a beautiful 'Planter Paradise' that was beyond the clients expectations. The space became a restorative area with gorgeous blooms, greenery, and niche elements that became an extension of the home for much-needed downtime and relaxation as well as entertaining. The happy customer thanked Lanoha for professionalism and care, alongside a promise made to provide quality and customer satisfaction.
