Backyard Beach / Lanoha Nurseries Brought to life in the 'Backyard Beach' by Lanoha Nurseries, a common suburban yard becomes a calming seaside hideaway. Covering the greater ministry areas of Bennington, Boys Town, Elkhorn, Omaha, Valley, and Waterloo, we set to work churning out a one-of-a-kind retreat that epitomizes the feel of a beach getaway at home. This featured a variety of premium materials such as natural stone pavers for a durable yet beautiful path, and white sand for the soft beach state. To deck the coastal theme, we mixed in lush tropical plants (think hibiscus and palm trees) that provided privacy as much as they added a coastal vibe. A pergola, also treated cedar, provides a lounge area out of the sun with outdoor chairs, making it a perfect spot to unwind or host visitors. Our biggest situation was level ground and drainage problems. To prevent flooding in the future, our professionals leveled the ground and set an extensive drainage system in place so that water would run away from the areas that will be used for sitting in the future. We replaced the existing concrete slab with a beautiful koi pond, which not only adds tranquility, but also becomes a natural water feature for the ultimate beach experience. This breathtaking backyard getaway is the stuff that crazy dreams are made of, and boy did it put a smile on our clients face. Now, with the ideal mix of usability and visual delight, the 'Backyard Beach' is a blessing communion spot, where the family can have fun weekend evening and family reunion stars gazing together. Lanoha Nurseries is pleased to have turned such a vision into reality, while providing an extraordinary landscaping solution for the home, right in the heart of the beach.
