Title of the Full Backyard Makeover | Lanoha Nurseries Last summer, Lanoha Nurseries wowed local homeowners with the 'Complete Backyard Re-Do,' a luxurious outdoor living space makeover for homeowners in Bennington, Boys Town, Elkhorn, Omaha, Valley, and Waterloo. The design challenge was to transform a plain and poorly utilized yard into a place that served its purpose, while being gorgeous to look at. It all started with an extensive consultation with the homeowners, where we gathered information on their vision, lifestyle, and workflows. We then secured quality materials, natural stone pavers, pressure-treated lumber for raised garden beds and sods premium to design green, healthy, grassy mats. An elaborate irrigation system was also included in order to make sure water is used properly as we know water is essential for life and we need to reinforce sustainability in the garden. Creating a balanced footprint was one of the more significant challenges, which required expert grading to establish enough continuity. Our team sagaciously tackled this by using heavy machinery and landscape engineering techniques to ensure a solid base for such subsequent features. The end result itself was pretty amazing. The backyard features a large patio area, including a personalized outdoor barbecue and seating area that calls for summer barbecues and entertaining. Perennial gardens fill the space with beauty, habitat for local wildlife and interest all year long. A tranquil water feature brings a sense of calmness, while discreet lighting showcases the beauty of the landscape in the evening hours. The homeowners were thrilled with their new backyard and thanked Lanoha Nurseries for their professionalism and attention to detail. Not only did this beautify his property, but it also added the finishing touch to their outdoor lifestyle, creating a true oasis for relaxation and entertainment.
