Terrascapes Landscape Design - No Mow Front Yard The 'No Mow Front Yard' was an important demonstration of low maintenance landscaping, sustainable practices, and beauty to a thoughtful client in Newton, MA. The principal goal of the was to replace a typical lawn and remove the need for lawn maintenance while enhancing the beauty and the ecological health of the property. Beginning with an evaluation of the specifics of the site, the group reported that they could implement a list of native, drought-resistant and low-maintenance plants in the installation, which included ornamental grasses, flowering perennial plants, and ground covers that expand with much less care under conditions found throughout the region.
