The real wow-factor for us is that it showcases our attention to detail, penchant for quality and innovation to clients in Jersey City, Manhattan, New York and Westchester. The Columbus Circle Rooftop features carefully curated native plants of all types: cozy perennials, thick ornamental grasses; all of which marry visual interest with biodiversity. We used good, sustainable materials that will wear the test of time, such as composite decking that resists weather and natural stone planters, that create warmth and ease. We faced some obstacles with limited access to the rooftop, since a significant number of items were transported by hand. Our capable crew carefully came up with a logistics plan that included a crane lift to bring heavier objects to the rooftop floor. This careful planning allowed for flexibility and a smooth workflow while keeping safety a priority. Multiple sun and wind conditions also demanded precise planning to cultivate microclimates for the best overall plant health as well as comfort for users. It is no surprise, the Columbus Circle Rooftop is a fabulous brand-new escape, with many cozy seating areas, a custom fire pit, and a vertical garden to pull your gaze to the rooftop oasis. This transformation will surely be a lasting legacy of a retreat, as it now beautifies the urban landscape with its nod to modern sustainability and urban urban escape.
