Treehouse and Water Garden by Liquidscapes Located in the quiet hills of New Vernon, Liquidscapes is pleased to share our newest endeavor: the 'Treehouse and Water Garden'. This charming work of art combines the beauty of nature with an imaginative design, resulting in a restorative retreat for both the eye and spirit. In the center of the landscape is a gorgeous, handcrafted treehouse from sustainably harvested cedar wood, which fits neatly into the neighboring trees. Located above grade, the treehouse overlooks a highly curated water garden below, featuring a gentle waterfall into a koi pond. The soft sound of the water spilling down into the pond continues the experience, inviting relaxation and contemplation. The water garden consists of a diverse group of plants including water lilies, irises, and fragrant lotus, each selected for their tolerance to aquatic environments. Each plant species was chosen for its creamy aesthetics as well as their ecological function by creating habitat for local wildlife. Situated around the pond, natural stone pathways cut across lush vegetation to provide patrons an intimate connection with nature. Throughout the landscape and through the challenges of constructing the treehouse with the trees in place, or making the water garden fit into an existing landscape, required Liquidscapes' team to push through each set of circumstance using good engineering and careful planning to allow people enjoy nature in two separate elements.
