Conceptual Designs by Liquidscapes At Liquidscapes, we take pleasure in redefining outdoor environments into spectacular landscapes according to our clients' designs; a service that enhances the experience of their home and property. Our most current , titled 'Conceptual Designs,' provided us the opportunity to showcase our quality and imagination. We partnered with affluent municipalities such as Alpine, New Vernon, and Short Hills, in a very large estate redesign with various landscape needs, and a cohesive scheme to integrate all of the parts. The design included a splendid mix of native plantings and graceful hardscaping, as well as a useable outdoor living space. A central water feature was custom designed and enhanced with locally harvested natural stone. The water feature added a peaceful quality to the landscape, while also serving as a central focal point. A challenge on the property was the condition of the topography. As landscape architects, we turned slopes and discretely uneven terrain into multi-level gardens that had depth and visual interest while remaining usable at all levels. Material selection was very important; we used sustainably sourced woods in the decking materials and long-lasting, weatherable stone in the patios and walkways. We paid careful attention to detail; this included custom designing a fire pit gathering area for entertaining, and a calm mediation garden for private use. Working closely to our clients to make sure that each detail matched their unique tastes was an important part of the design process. In the end, we created a stunning outdoor oasis that exceeded their expectations and they were happily surprised with their new landscape. Liquidscapes is proud of setting the standard in the art of outside outdoor design, and will continue to serve deserving communities such as Avalon, Sea Girt, and Fair Haven, each will serve as a guiding principle of quality and creativity.
