Summary: Japanese Themed Garden by Elite Horticulture Services Located in the heart of Kent, Elite Horticulture Services was proud to complete a stunning Japanese Themed Garden that encompassed peace and natural beauty. This demonstrated Elite Horticulture Services’ commitment to the highest level of quality and craftsmanship by turning a typical backyard into a peaceful sanctuary. The design uses a variety of items organized in a purposeful manner, including a spectacular koi pond, a softly flowing stream, and a traditional stone lantern that happens to entice viewers to pause and reflect. Authentic Japanese maples, bamboo, and azaleas were purposefully selected to provide bright colors and peaceful textures throughout the seasons. Hand laid stepping stones create a pathway that winds through a lush carpet of moss leading visitors to quiet seating areas that were made from natural cedar. Many challenges and obstacles related to the existing topography had to be incorporated into the design while successfully enforcing proper drainage for the pond and stream. The Elite Horticulture Services team implemented a unique grading practices and important filtration systems to solve these issues and develop a garden that is not only pleasing to the eye but efficient. The resulting garden became an artistic relationship of nature that makes the client and guests happy and brings the potential for solitude and reflection. The Japanese Themed Garden demonstrates Elite Horticulture Services’ pursuit of excellence and continues the tradition of improving landscapes in Alderton, Auburn, or any location with the unique beauty and sophistication.
