About This Project

Classic Winnetka Residence For Greenwise Organic Lawn Care and Landscape Design, there are no greater priorities than making outdoor spaces look incredibly impressive. From our last , Classic Winnetka Residence, we learned both how to make every detail right and do it in a sustainable way. We worked in the middle of Winnetka, aiming to complement the natural beauty of the chosen place with our actions, at the same time making it functional. In our work, we employed a mixture of native and ornamental plants, beautiful clouds of flowers, and fresh green lawns to create a harmonious image. However, we also aimed to protect and increase local biodiversity. Patios and pathways are made of permeable pavers, which prevent water from gathering on the surface enabling drainage and minimizing runoff. However, the chosen spot was sloped, which created certain locations that needed special treatment. Our solution was a cascade of tiered garden beds of nonzero frequency. They not only help to visually modify the site by adding depth and opportunities for growing different species but provide abundant planting space. Our specialists carefully built retaining walls from granite, the local stone, to ensure both a classical look that would correspond with the house architecture and long-lasting use. Granite comes in the form of small stones instead of large blocks, which enabled our specialists to make the construction sturdy. The visual center of the site is a large pergola built specifically for the clients’ needs. It is a lovely place for family and friend gatherings. At the edge of the patio, we designed a water fountain to make the experience as soothing as possible. Our clients admired the way the residence looked and communicated with their lifestyle, and we also appreciated our work, taking pride in creating the site that will be enjoyed for years to come.
