Located in the scenic surroundings of Greenwich, Bolton Landscape Design & Masonry Inc.'s 'Granite' is a true tribute to the art of workmanship and design. Serving the neighborhoods of Cannondale, Darien, Easton, Georgetown, New Canaan, North Stamford, Pound Ridge, Redding, Redding Center, Ridgefield, South Salem, Stamford, Weston, Westport, and Wilton, we take great pride in improving outdoor spaces. The 'Granite' transformed a standard yard into a beautiful outdoor retreat with a mix of landscaping elements carefully chosen by the owner. Incorporating natural granite boulders all placed strategically and beautifully in the design became a main focal point, blending hardscape and softscape into a beautiful design that complements its surroundings. The also incorporated a mix of native plants which aided in sustainability and natural aesthetic through the seasons. The flat site had a slope that presented us with one of the largest challenges- planning for drainage and stability. Our skilled team made a tiered design beautifying the site with elegant stone retaining walls that looked impressive while making sure drainage was intact to prevent erosion and to provide beauty and structure. We incorporated pathways made of locally sourced flagstone to navigate all the space, allowing guests a chance to travel and immerse themselves with nature and plant life. The end result is that this incredible landscape mirrors the owner's vision and way of life. A beautiful seat wall and custom benches built around a fire pit create the perfect atmosphere for family gatherings and special evenings under the stars. The detail and quality in materials and plant selection from the granite features, plant selections, to guest harmoniously navigating the space, enhanced the overall aesthetic and obviously raised the property's value.
