Seasonal Planting by Three Trails LLC Recently, Three Trails LLC completed an exciting Seasonal Planting that emerged from our goal to revitalize outdoor spaces in the magnificent neighborhoods of Countryside, Fairway, Kansas City, Lake Quivira, Leawood, and other nearby communities. We hand-picked seasonal flowering plants and designed them to correspond with their environment and to provide joy well after planting. Aspects such as location’s unique soil types and potential growing conditions, such as weather in Olathe, Overland Park, Prairie Village, etc., were taken into consideration and helped inform our management of this . We selected native plants, perennial flowering plants, and an assortment of ornamental grasses that would thrive under Kansas climate. In addition to selecting native species, we added organic soil amendments to the planting beds and used only biodegradable mulch at each location. After examining the properties we visited, the multitude of situations we dealt with, including the varying amounts of sunlight in different properties was achieved by assess the plants light requirements. Our experienced landscape architects and horticulturists conducted detailed on-site assessments to plan for all cases so plants could be placed in areas that provided an adequate amount of direct sunlight. This attention to detail ensured each backyard and front yard was alive with flowers and foliage during spring, summer, fall, and winter. The numerous colors and textures of plants used delighted our clients as their patios, porches, and backyards provided a bumper crop of visual entertainment. Each seasonal selection provides a new opportunity for visual delight; from sunny daffodils in spring to the varying colorful leaf displays in fall, each season brings a new layer of beauty. Seasonal planting has extended enjoyment, contributed to the aesthetic standards of properties in Mission, Mission Woods, and North Kansas City and other unique sites, and provided an outdoor experience that has embraced sustainability and low-maintenance landscape options from year-to-year.
