Boulder Terracing, Stone Steps and Landscaping by Bolton Landscape Design & Masonry Inc. Bolton Landscape Design & Masonry Inc. has recently completed a stunning called "Boulder Terracing, Stone Steps and Landscaping," which has transformed a standard hillside property into a beautiful outdoor living space. Serving the beautiful communities of Cannondale, Darien, Easton, and beyond, we designed and constructed terraced gardens using durable, fieldstone boulders which were sourced locally and fit nicely into the existing landscape. This particular had some challenges including steep slopes and uneven ground. Our team of skilled masons worked diligently and creatively to engineer the terracing in a way that would hinder any erosion and still be simply beautiful to look at. Each terrace was intentionally designed with rich, organic soils and selected native plants that will thrive in our region. Overall, the beauty of the and the environmental care are both met! The other part of the landscape improvement was a lovely set of stone steps, hand-laid to be an inviting and durable feature. The steps were made from the same stone as the terracing, providing a seamless thread from one tier of the garden to another. They beckon family and friends to visit the different levels throughout the garden and provide a wonderful outdoor experience. We pride ourselves on our craftsmanship and the are some of the most important components of the . Each material was carefully selected in hobbies and qualities, and every step came together in the installation process. The final left clients with dropped jaws, and they loved the terraced gardens that now provided a beautiful space for their enjoyment in outdoor living and a great improvement to their property value.
