Provencal Style - Newport Coast MDZA Landscape Architecture and Planning is excited to announce the completion of the “Provencal Style - Newport Coast” , which shows the elegance of the French countryside blended with the coastal feelings associated with Newport Coast. This , located in the heart of one of California’s most beautiful towns, shows our flair for quality and design in producing innovative landscapes. This design has a pleasant mixture of soft fields of lavender, romantic hedges of rosemary and graceful olive trees giving a mixture of the smells of splendor associated with the quietities of Provence. Rustic stone paths made from the products of native stone in the area have been used to accentuate temporal gates delivering the visitor into the lovely sections of the garden they can enjoy. The use of natural stone lends itself to the authenticity of the designs as they are long-lived and appropriate in the coastal district. One of the major problems encountered was the steepness of this location. Our engineering staff has worked out terraced gardens which have not only delivered the maximum use of the space but gives such beautiful vistas of exchanges and other parts of the property adjoining. This irrigation system which we installed????????exchanges water in a better manner to allow the plants to adjust themselves to the climate. This is a beautiful landscape, which not only appeals to the eye but to the olfactories. A serene atmosphere has been brought also by a cozy outdoor living section with a fireplace made from native stone, which makes fantastic setting for entertaining in real Southern California evenings under the stars. The owners were so pleased with it that they had to express themselves on how wonderfully this had changed the living affordability outdoors to a beautiful retreat which gave a satisfying joy of the splendor and romanticism of Provence.
