John's gift

John's Gift by Liquidscapes Liquidscapes has completed a lovely landscaping that has transformed a property in Short Hills, called ‘John’s Gift.’ This beautiful installation allows our client to enjoy their time outdoors in comfort and grace. The client envisaged a tranquil outdoor space combining beauty and function. The included a beautiful custom stone patio created from local bluestone that worked with the existing topography. The patio’s geometric pattern provided a functional and aesthetic entertaining space surrounded by seasonal perennial gardens bursting with color. To provide privacy and a natural sound barrier for a peaceful experience, Liquidscapes provided an extensive row of arborvitae and other evergreens to create all-year round foliage while completing the property. A small water feature with a water cascade for sound was installed to offer a welcoming and calming ambiance. One of the care challenges we faced on this property was the unlevel site which required grading and drainage work to allow the site and any landscaping to stand the harsh outdoor elements. This was addressed by our team of professionals with considerate time and expense to create and provide nothing but the best materials and an aesthetic with a substantial and enduring foundation. In summary, we rose to the occasion, and the end product was glorious. John’s Gift became a beautiful place to entertain guests, to sit and enjoy time alone, to read, and to enjoy nature in the comfort of their yard. Our client was delighted, and they expressed their admiration for the process and the beautiful redesign of their yard. The transformation of natural beauty, craftsmanship, and thought has the reputation as being one of our best landscaping or indoor-outdoor s to date, and a mark upon every who is tilting my grass filled with a smile.
