GLC Lawn and Landscaping LLC Landscaping Makeover GLC Lawn & Landscaping LLC is excited to share the 'Landscape Makeover' that has altered the way our clients interact with their outdoor space in old town Belleville, Michigan. This involved a full redesign of the landscape on the property that combined aesthetics and function. The included a beautiful hardscaped area made of interlocking pavers with a large area that makes entertaining family and friends so easy to want to be outside. Natural stone retaining walls were added to classy contour the sloping topography to prevent soil erosion before it started and to bling the landscape. The native plants and perennials to bring vegetation and color to the volume of the landscape while enhancing local biodiversity. The property had a significant drainage problem, in the design process we had to devise a solution to the drainage problem. Water flow diversion techniques were achieved by trenching French drains and installing bioswales to divert traffic off and not damage newly established landscape. The results were truly remarkable! The combination of hardscaping and softscaping elements created and inviting/serene outdoor environment improving both curb appeal and function of the dawn to dusk outdoor space. Our clients were pleased with their new outdoor space which extends the home to the backyard creating an excellent outdoor living space.
