Stonework at Snow Creek Landscaping, LLC Located in the idyllic settings of Arden, Asheville, and beyond, Snow Creek Landscaping, LLC is happy to share the ‘Stonework’ an example of our dedication to quality and craftsmanship in landscaping. This exemplifies the graceful integration of natural stone pathways, retaining walls, and decorative stone that fit the site and utilize natural elements to create a beautiful landscape. The process started with an extensive consultation to learn and develop an understanding of the client's vision for their outdoor space. Our team selected local fieldstone and flagstone with the understanding that durability and timeless beauty were equally as important to the landscape as the look of the stone. One of the more significant challenges presented by the property was the steep slope. To overcome this challenge our skilled builders developed a series of tiered retaining walls to create structural support while also creating levels in the garden that were visually impressive. This allowed for increases to the usable space as well as proper drainage to control erosion and properly manage water. The end result is an engaging outdoor retreat that is both functional and beautiful. The winding stone paths invite exploration leading to thoughtfully designed garden beds with native plants. Boulders are also evenly distributed across the site for depth and visual interest. Finally, the lighting installed around the stonework completes the experience at night, and creates a magical space in nature. Our client could not have been more pleased with the completed . They were especially happy the attention to detail and how nature became the theme of the outdoor space. The stonework would not only expand their outdoor social space, it would also add to their lifestyle at home and provide a peaceful retreat.
