Gardens by Snow Creek Landscaping, LLC Located in the scenic foothills of North Carolina, the 'Gardens' by Snow Creek Landscaping, LLC embellished a large residential property into an aesthetically pleasing outdoor experience for a family in Asheville . A goal of the was to achieve a sensical integration of nature and art. A landscape typograph was developed that embraces biodiversity in the area while providing a peaceful, relaxing experience to the family. As part of the , we provided a beautiful assortment of native plants that would thrive in the climate while being attractive to pollinators. We used a wide range of perennials, grasses, and flowering shrubs for year-round color and interest. Natural stone paths, quarried from close by, were used to direct visitor movement priorities, while connecting elements of the outdoor space with the surrounding landscape. It actually becomes a case, for example, where shelter is created as one walks thought the entries in the garden space due to natural conditions either extending the pathway without delineation or utilizing a deciduous shrub for the outer edge of the pathway. One of the most ambitious elements of the was the water feature, an idea we brought to the owner of the property so that they could enjoy the balance between sound and color proportionally more in the garden experience. The design and construction of the water feature were developed to fit existing topography and to be both easy and effective for draining while becoming an interactive element of their garden. The finished feature included a pond and waterfall with aquatic plants that lend significantly to the sound and sensory preparations of their garden experience. The 'Gardens' included lounge seating that we custom built in the design of the garden while utilizing reclaimed wood as a featured design element. In some cases it was even decided to have both cushioned seats and benches to accommodate the family and we could identify the need based on the family use cases for the space in the seasonal reconstruction of the planting beds in tiered placements that greatly enhance usability across the seasons along with the obviously spectacular views. Focus on quality and detail can be seen in all aspects of this . From hardscape installations of stone work to the each planted perennials having been sided to create the proper viewing experience for the family member. The exceeded expectations of the clients by greatly enhancing the space in a beautiful functional way. The Gardens was a visual statement to the dedication of Snow Creek Landscaping to improving the visual landscape of every home in Arden, Asheville, and the surrounding communities. The clients received a rich outdoor experience and a visual reflection of themselves and their love of nature, not only beautiful but a peaceful area for many generations of FAMILY experiences.
