View Garden Developed by Lisa Gimmy Landscape Architecture, the View Garden is a gorgeous example of the transformative potential of thoughtful landscaping. Located in the heart of the Greater Los Angeles area, the maximizes breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape while creating a welcoming outdoor space for the homeowners. The design features an exciting array of native California plants, drought-resistant succulents, and cool flowering perennials to provide aesthetic interest and sustainability. Each plant was selected for its color and texture and ability to thrive in the climate, so the garden would remain lush throughout the seasons. One feature that distinguishes the design is the beautiful terraced arrangement conforming to the natural slope of the property. It adds visual interest and assists with erosion control, an important challenge posed by the topography of the site. Additionally, natural stone pathways and seating areas created from locally sourced materials enhance the comfort of the space, inviting people to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.
