Foothills Mountain Home Transformation Colorado Vista Landscape Design, Inc. is excited to present the “Foothills Mountain Home Transformation” dedicated to landscape design for a beautiful in the foothills of Northern Colorado. Serving the lovely towns of Fort Collins, Laporte, Loveland, Severance, Timnath, proud to turn a beautiful mountain house into something special while being respectful of all that it brought to the table. This featured a balance of native plants, drought-resistant shrubs, and some beautiful hardscapes. Local stone was used throughout, with retaining walls and pathways, which we knew would give the space the rustic look and last in foothill’s climate. The addition of a custom outdoor living space was also very special, with sitting areas, firepit, and native wildflowers were also planted to give beautiful color to the overall and bring joy year-round. Slope was one challenge we knew we would have to address. Properly managing the water, and drainage from the slopes was a challenge with foresight. Grading and drainage were taken into consideration with future stability in mind. Obviously, earth had to be moved and included the challenges of proper drainage initially, and over time to avoid losing earth during rain and snowfall. At the end of the day we had the outdoor oasis which gave an beautiful outdoor charm along with functionality. The client was excited and sent additional photos of the little which added to the experience and .
