About This Project

Summary: Mayhew Residence At ServeScape, we love to creatively transform outdoor spaces into peaceful retreats in a way that appeals to our clients' individual tastes. The Mayhew Residence in Sandy Springs highlights the quality and creativity we bring to landscaping. The consisted of creating a complete front and back yard overhaul with both aesthetics and usability in mind. The design incorporated a mix of native plants, ornamental shrubs, and seasonal flowers to create a colorful palette to enhance the ambiance of the home while attracting native wildlife. To add interest throughout the year, we also planned for a mix of perennials and evergreens in layers throughout the entire site. One of the challenges of the site was the sloping conditions that surrounded the property. We used quality natural stone to create terraced garden beds and a beautiful retaining wall for both retaining the slope and preventing erosion. We chose to use permeable pavers for the paths throughout the yard. Not only do they enhance the beauty of the design, they also allow drainage in a more sustainable way. The also included a custom-built outdoor living area with a fire pit and seating for family gatherings. The outdoor living area is made from reclaimed wood and stone for a rustic style that fits right into the landscape. Overall, the outcome of the design and implementation exceeded our clients' expectations. The Mayhew Residence now boasts a beautiful outdoor area for the family to enjoy year-round. The lush greenery, professional level of detail, and architecture provide a space where beauty meets usability.
