Synopsis: Belmont Hill Residence The Belmont Hill Residence , designed and constructed by Matthew Cunningham Landscape Design LLC, illustrates the creativity and craftsmanship that set our work apart in Stoneham. A residential landscape renovation that meets the needs of the homeowners while maintaining a balanced approach to functionality and aesthetics. The began with an analysis of the site in order to develop a strategy for the sloped site conditions. Our team designed a series of terraced garden beds, creating stable walls using locally sourced stone. In addition to providing stability, the walls also enhanced the visual properties of the site. Key components of the include a gorgeous selection of native plantings that promote biodiversity and require minimal upkeep. The included the incorporation of drought-tolerant perennials and ornamental grasses in order to provide colorful plantings throughout the seasons while conserving water. The custom bluestone patio is designed as a gathering area that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, providing a border of fragrant flowers that contribute to the experience. Our team developed a system of underground drainage in a manner that redirected the water away from the property. This allowed us to provide a life to the landscape and maintain an attractive property. Using permeable pavers to detail pathways continued the architectural charm of the home while serving as a structural benefit for water retention. The final product at the Belmont Hill Residence is an outdoor living area that exhibits the homeowners comfort and enjoyment in their outdoor setting.
