Rustic Backyard Renovations This remarkable rustic backyard renovations located in Sun Valley, ID was designed by Ben Young Landscape Design. The intent of this monumental was to integrate the natural surrounding beauty with rustic aesthetics to provide a cozy outdoor oasis for our clients. The included a well-designed plan of native stone walkways, reclaimed wood decks, and drought-resistant plantings. We personally selected local materials, keeping in mind that every component needs to integrate with its environment while being as sustainable as possible. Built around a custom made fire pit area with the natural timber seating it was brought to entertain the family and for evening relaxation as well. Our site had a lot of challenges, but the intercepting highest one was the slope of the site and how to grade without creating flat spaces ruining the natural land flow. The solution had to match form and function, but our team of experts deftly tackled this challenge as well. The end product was even better than imagined, turning an underused backyard into a beautiful retreat that fuses rustic elegance with modern amenities. The clients could not have been happier with their new outdoor living space that will improve their home's resale value AND quality of life.
