Half Pint Residence by TG&R Landscape Group TG&R Landscape Group takes great pride in the 'Half Pint Residence' , a beautiful transformation set in the heart of Rock Hill. Serving the local communities of Catawba, Edgemoor, Fort Mill, and beyond, our team accepted this challenge with an idea to create a relaxing outdoor getaway that speaks to the landscape. The 's starting point was a thorough inspection of the existing yard, which was covered in unlevel ground and overgrown vegetation. Our design team drew up a plan that maintained and encouraged native plants for biodiversity and low maintenance for the homeowners. We sourced materials that matched the architecture of the residence, such as natural stone paths and sustainably harvested wood for the raised garden beds. A bonus of the Half Pint Residence is the colorful perennial flower garden, designed to provide color and attraction to local pollinators year round! Another feature we added was the placid water feature. A focal point, the water feature also provides nice sounds for outdoor use. Throughout the our team endured some labor-intensive challenges with the soil quality and the drainage of the site. With some final grading and the installation of a drainage system however, we created the landscape which was lush and inviting. The end result is a careful design of functionality and aesthetics that delighted our clients. With new gathering spaces for families, thoughtfully chosen plant selections, and comfortable neighborhood space, the Half Pint Residence is now a true oasis of relaxation and enjoyment.
