Diamond Residence with TG&R Landscape Group Located in Fort Mill, the Diamond Residence landscaping showcases the creative excellence of TG&R Landscape Group. TG&R provides landscaping and maintenance service to a variety of neighborhoods across Catawba, Edgemoor, India Hook, Lando, Lesslie, Newport, Rock Hill, Tega Cay, Van Wyck and beyond. The Diamond Residence was a finishing work focused on taking the exterior of a beautiful home to a place of tranquility combining both layout and planting with aesthetics and functionality. A design phase opened our work, where the homeowners shared their vision set up a coordinated path. The final design included multiple forms of landscaping elements, highlighted by a striking tiered garden showcasing a diverse range of native perennials and ornamental grasses that will show beautiful color and texture throughout the year. In connection with the residence we constructed a custom stone path made with local flagstone that hugs the home and connects to a rustic path through layered plantings. One of the main challenges for our was the uneven topography, requiring grading and drainage changes to aid with pooling at our base and continued erosion. Along with those concerns, we collaboratively designed and installed a premium drainage system that ensures the landscape will last a long time while supporting healthy surface and subsoil drainage. Also, we connected a low-maintenance automatic irrigation system that we set-up to conserve water and achieve efficient watering for areas of the design that needed irrigation for plant success. To give the landscaping an elegant nature, we incorporated an intimate area with custom natural stone seating around our handsome fire pit to create a space for family and friends, along with an absolutely beautiful ambiance with added warmth on chilly evenings. The overall ’s transformation at the Diamond Residence was stunning at completion. The homeowners were thrilled and said the new landscape created for their home, not only elevated the curb appeal but created tranquil experiences they desired in their front yard.
