Warrington Place Residence by TG&R Landscape Group TG&R Landscape Group is dedicated to the transformation of outdoor spaces into landscapes that allow for beauty and function. The Warrington Place Residence is an example of our dedication to quality and designed innovation, in the heart of the scenic Fort Mill area. This started with a goal of providing a relaxing retreat that would meet the owner's vision of outdoor space that fits well in the natural backdrop of their property. The site posed a design challenge with its sloped terrain, therefore requiring a careful plan to provide functional drainage and stability in the landscape. Using quality materials, we constructed tiered retaining walls made of local stone, which not only offered management of the change in topography but also added rustic charm. Careful research and selection of native plant species for the landscape was another key feature of this , with an emphasis on selecting plants which could thrive in the local climate and provide color and texture throughout the year. The installed vegetation consisted of an interesting combination of perennials, shrubs, and ornamental grasses, providing an engaging space for the native flora and fauna, in addition to minimizing water consumption. Meandering through the garden space are multiple pathways of permeable paver stones, which remain functional and beautiful, while allowing for rainwater to filter back through the ground naturally. A key feature of this is the custom built fire pit made with natural boulders, adequately sized for family gatherings around the evening stars. A bubbling water feature further provides an extra dimension to the sensory experience, allowing for the calming sound of a natural water flow without needing to compete with the existing sounds of the property. The entirety of the exceeded the client's expectations, providing their outdoor space with a lush, relaxing area for enjoyment and entertaining. All design features, along with our craftmanship and attention to detail, reflect TG&R Landscape Group's commitment to creating landscapes that provide beauty, along with sustainability.
