Front Yard Landscape September 2012 Astonishingly dynamic and capable of merging function with beauty, the 'Front Yard Landscape September 2012' is an outdoors space designed by Sterling Design & Landscape Resources, serving the wonderful city of Houston. The features a custom designed natural flagstone pathway which leads from the driveway through a collection of native Texas heirloom plants (round one year old until they bloom), including the exciting colors of lantanas and the stronger appearance of yuccas. The chosen material adds healthy sustainability while supporting local natural habitat. Visitors to the outdoor space were provided an enticing and colorful multi-tier presentation upon entering. Grading adjustment was necessary for the existing uneven terrain to create a level foundation to build the landscape, along with a combination of soil amendments that made for a rich, healthy plant environment. The native plants were established with groovy irrigation to help sustain the landscape with water use for a continued biome into an eco-existence. The landscape was successfully pushed further into aesthetic beauty by placing a new, elegant stone retaining wall made of local granite to emphasized depth to the outdoor space. The owners expressed enormous excitement and appreciation for the level of detail provided by our team and how beautiful the turned out blending into the existing architecture of their new home. The overall value of the home's street appeal was transformed by the skateboard quality of craftsmanship and expand appeal by Sterling Design & Landscape Resources.
